First Collaboration: Malaysian Customizer and De Real Transworks!!!

On 9th to 11th September 2011 there held another annual exhibition for De Real Transworks (DRT)on Malaysia International Toy fair 2011 (MITF)...however this year DRT is collaborating with new affiliate called Malaysian Customizer (MC). It is very good oppoturnity for DRT to collaborate with MC whose full with talented customizers around the country.

The customizer is not only came from transformers background customs, but also Starwars, Predator, Military kit/model, Gundam, Diorama and not forgotten costume. We as local group represent customizer especially from Malaysia is not only open to local but overseas customizer who like to share knowledge..anybody who want to join this group just go to FaceBook and type Malaysian Customizer or go to downside of this blog and click to MC logo.

The collaboration for the first time is involving the 8f x 6f G1 transformers Diorama "Protect The Ark" which conbine all Masterpiece scale Transformers that officials or custom. 60% of the figures is custom by DRT and some from Apexx's Custom and Hash Prime's Custom. And there is exclusive preview for Malaysian Book of Records Proposal "G1 metroplex" from DRT. Most of the local MITF's news and blog focusing the news on this Metroplex and the Diorama.

The diorama is done by Ransangmas, Baba Custom, Pak Malau, Shahijat, Suffian Jamel and Jonathan from MC. As a members they struggle to finish this diorama within 1 month time... Its a very limited period but MC showed that we are the most punctual to deadline. Much respect for the hardworks and effort to Malaysian Customizer!!!

This custom done 2 month ago...done by one customizer in USA and I bought it from my friend because of its MP scale....its really good pieces however im not satisfied with some minor parts in it...so I change some parts...it is involve:

1.MP Quint-head of Death totally scratch built, all head remove and change to 3rd party head...some body parts change..
2.Classic Quint-totally new scratch built for head of Death and War...totally repaint the Wrath, Wisdom and Judgment head...the Wrath head involve minor adjustments....the egg section remain but change the tantacles and repaint the smoke underneath..

Hi guys....De Real Transworks once again togather with his affiliates Transmy has been invited to joined Dark of the Moon Exhibition sponsored by Chevrolet and United International Pictures from 7th till 12th June 2011....

what we got here is all range generation TF toys in displayed, custom TF (of course from me and a few from Trnasmy members), 22f ROTF Optimus Prime Statue made from steel, Prime and bumblebee mascot costume, astonishing dream Yellow Bumblebee real Camaro, custom workshop, free gifts and much2 more..

here what you can see I shoot the pics mostly on the set up nite before Exhibition launching on the next day.....finish set-up at 4.30am....then go home to sleep abaut 3 hours then came back to the mall for launching at 10am....what a bezee and tiring life im walk into...for this coming 11th and 12th June i will be doing another Demonstration for costomizing....I will update to ya what is all the heck is going about...till all are one..

Actually im not plan to do this LC SS in this crucial time of coming exhibition dateline...for some of you that might knew that im build the MP2 Trailer and and Metroplex for this coming TF Exhibits, it is just an accident for me to do this in few day spare time in waiting for parts (alt smokescreen, prowl n bluestreak on da way too)....it supposed to be another 9-12 month ahead plan but when just watch this LC stand in my showcase glass...I just think "hey how about if U just start paint it now?"

so here it is some of the easiest simple mode and repaint that done in one week...its not the best with some of other best repainted LC SS out there but hey its for my own collection man....who cares LOL

the arm weapon is added small wings like in movie, the thrusters on his back is scratch builts from 3 cable sockets, 1/72 tank threads and parts...the rest is stickers for plane details.. not forgotten the fingers is articulated....paint with Automobile Samurai brand and Mr. Color and detail it with black Tamiya paiint..drybrush a bit

Update On Latest Workout: After The Most Bezee Semester

It a very bezee semester from january to June for this year..just now one reporter from local newspaper just finish interview me (will upload the news once it come out)

I got no space and time to do custom due to partime on teaching in 2 Universities in Monday to Friday evening (after office hour till 10pm)...and for the Saturday and Sunday of course I bezee with family matters (only those day I can spent my time)so thats about it why it is so quiet for a while....and yesterday is the last presentation i have to finish...now back to scratchbuilt MP2 Trailer and Metroplex...have to finish this before end of June..

However here some of the simple works (repaints) that i "able to-do" a few weeks ago...still need some other time to sit and do some small touch-up and stickers apply....sorry I got no time to do photshoot for a while due to head-ache thinking of Metroplex...like prime said in ROTF "soon will be"

done this 2 weeks ago but late in taking pics...using Voyager animated Megz...blend with energon Shockblast for left hand, supreme starscream's blastergun and Demolisher for back feet....scratchbuilt the truster backpack from Gundam parts and the tank thread is totally scratch by demolisher's tread (cut by pieces)...paint with black as a base, then chrome dry brush and sparkling blue tamiya..

Now I got their answers....so now I know what Im supposed to do...it is quite complicated but then it is not impossible to settle it...So any tips from you guys really apreciate it to make this dream come true...this guidelines can also be useful to those plan to follow my step to get such records..here is what they sez:

Dear Azwan

Please find below the procedure & guidelines for those attempting to enterour publication. MBR PROCEDURES & GUIDELINES

1) First, you need to send application letter on your organisation’sofficial letterhead with all the relevant details, such as proposedrecord title and other information pertaining to the nature of yourrecord attempt. The date / venue / purpose of record attempt andmeasurements in metres, indicating the height, width and length, ornumber of participants, whichever is applicable, must be included in theapplication letter. We will discuss your application with our research team. If we considerthat this attempt can be endorsed, we will issue a Rules & Regulations(R&R) letter, the terms of which must strictly be adhered to. For a moredetailed explanation on the R&R, you are strongly advised to make anappointment with the MBR Research Department for a discussion at ouroffice.

2) Press coverage of the event is at the organiser’s discretion. Theperson serving as the witness must be from the government sector, such asADUN (Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri), Member of Parliament, Secretary Generalof Ministry, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Deputy Minister,Minister, etc. If your witness is other than as stated above, you cancheck with us to confirm.

3) Kindly be informed that an administration fee of RM 1,500 is levied onall record attempt applications (RM 2,000 for Berhad companies). Thisfee is inclusive of consultation, administrative charges, production ofMBR Mock & Original Certificate and the rights to the usage of MBRofficial logo in POS Materials. Cheques should be made payable toMalaysia Book of Records Sdn Bhd. (Waiver of the fee will onlyconsidered for special circumstances.) Individuals attempting records ontheir own will be subject to a RM 500 administration fee.

4) Attendance of MBR official is subject to the availability of officialsand at the discretion of MBR. Please be informed that event levy of RM150 for weekend event and RM 200 is chargeable for public holiday event,RM 80 for weekday after 6pm in Klang Valley and RM 100 for weekdays outof Klang Valley, which is to be paid to the official in attendance by theorganizer. For events out of Klang Valley, all traveling expenses such asmileage (RM 1.00 per km), toll and accommodation must be borne by theorganizer.

New Year and new target.....some of you might know...im now 20% in builts massive G1 Metroplex that stand almost 4.5f in robot mode...thus not to wasting the efforts that i spend to this massive creature...i plan to concurrently registered it with "Malaysia Records" as the 1st Biggest Transformers Figures Ever Produce...so here is my 1st email to them and i would like to share with you guys...my kindest followers...cheers guys:)

Hi Malaysia Record,

Im malaysian, age 33, working as a lecturer in Institut Kemahiran Baitulmal and recently stay in Kuala Lumpur, i want to propose a new record...im a transformers action figures customizer that built a 4.5 feet transformers action figure (in progress)....the custom figure is refer to a G1 cartoon character name Metroplex and it will transform into a giant city centre and a giant defend base that can move like a tank...so it mean it have a 3 transformations or 3 modes..

To built a custom toys till this massive scale is not so easy...thus in Malaysia as fa as i know, im the only one who built it to achieve this kind of measurement (and even in the world)..as far as i know (my experience in this field is 4 years now)..around the world most customizer that doing 7 feet transformers is actually just a action figures and "not really" a transformers (can transforms)..for your information this builts will using various material from plastic road divider, perspecs, drainage tube, LED and etc (it's scratch-built)..

so this is why i forward to your attentions...about how i want to register for gettng this kind of records..i attach you the 20% of progress of how this figure look alike and how its finish appearence..planning of finishing dateline is on early June 2011.

I been contact by Gempak reporter 1 month ago...the interview sessions was happened first in my house (for studio view) and then onto my office (where most of the customs displayed)...it almost 6 hours of interview sessions and that is the first time face to face transformation occur for my custom figures ever (transform the astrotrain took about 17 minutes)...

Shocking News:Igears Wolkswagen

Im quite shock when reading news in this morning....Igears will attempt dangerous situation later when realesing something that prohibit by certain company (more bigger like Volkswagen).....but it is really plesure by some fans where the mold of real Volkswagen is release....for me it is quite an exhale where the size is in 1/32...smaller than alternator...i got plan to do casting like 10 copy later on binaltech sizes...so when i knew that it was deluxe sizes it is quite comfortable feeling...but i have to admit that i gears i one of the best 3rd party companies that fulfill a lot of fans need, that never been taken seriously bay Hasbro.

Hi guys...in one and half weeks in vacation for Eid Al-Mubarak...beside entertained guests..i have a spare time cahtting with Toby AKA Alpha Magunus(admin) from Sector70...he ask me to do one work to contribute for Sector70 coming charity project that most of the money will be donate to American Cancer Society..so i decide to contribute even it is not donating to Malaysian...as long it is for good use im in...perhaps in future kitbashers in Malaysia will collaborate to do something similar to help any NGOs Society so our "gifted" at least is for something beneficial..

i will doing the Animated magatron in tank mode but the vibe is in ROTF type..dont get it what i mean??well you will see it soon...beside some commisssions works this thing will potentially on-off with Metroplex progress...hmmmmm no comment for that..

Praise to Allah S.W.T...beside Him giving me the ideas and unconcious talent, im sure paralyze to finish this monster...in 3 month time between bezeness of having a new born baby, take care of my wife's recover from sickness of delivers, outstation to langkawi for Practical Trainee Visits, involve in Malaysia International Toy Fair and more and more commissions works...at last this monster finish at really last of the dateline..In the last of 3 weeks before dateline..that is the crucial time for me...

sleep between 4 hours a day in last 3 weeks and 2 hours everyday in last 2 weeks makes me think that its not worth to give time to this hobby...my heart in pain, my brain in disorder conditions..even in last 1 weeks time sometimes i dint able to think where is my screw driver while it is only infront of me..but at last all the hazardous is pay-off...this is the first time i got such titles..thnks to Him again for reward me that..im really in shock for a while..

I will update with the pictures and WIPs and i will share this beautiful monster when doing it for the 2nd time..this time is for Ebay..

Sector70 Triplechanger contest Submitted and MP Devastator 1st Preview

Hi there...at last the submission date ends (so the bezenessss for all this 2 month time)...and as a contestant there is not much i can say due to contest regulation to not reveal what we have done so far...but hopefully by the next monday all gallery is ready to preview and all of you can go to www.sector70.com to see what the contestant including me have done....but there is no clue whose doing what including me...after the winner is announce then we can reveal the other pics and WIPs....so i will post the WIPs (something that vise versa all this time) after the winner is announced..

also for the first time here what ive done so far for the MP Devastator....really hard-butt to collect all this 1/25 1/24 scale vehicle....at least the hardest to get long haul alt mode is already bought and the reat of mixmaster is not so hard to find...and hook will be scratch built due to unexistance 1/24 model for such knd of crane carrier..this custom will straightfully start after i done doing MP Metroplex...thats pretty much about it and thnks for droppin by guys..

i got some minor alteration requested by my customer who the same commissioned me G1 Blaster....he want me to alter the face each of the bots...no articulation alteration involve..the commissioner want

Optimus Prime: bigger blue eyes instead of the narrow yellow eyes he has now plus a little paint job on his mouth.

Windcharger (keychain): remove that thing on his head and give him the g1 cartoon look ...

Gears, Huffer, Trailbreaker: give him the g1 cartoon look .

Superion (just the head): The toy has a normal mouth, in the cartoon version he has a mouth like Soundwave.

Bumblebee: alter the head to be more G1ish

MP Soundwave/ MP Sixshot Fists Tutorial

due to requests from Sector70 and TFW2005...here is the tutorial on how to do MP size fist using zipper from bags..

1.what you need most is the zipper like this...big scale zipper

2.then cut how long as you like..for MP Sixshot i cutted 6 parts/points long while for MP Soundwave 5...but 6 or 5 parts/points of the zipper is the proper measurements that suit with robot fingers..less or longer can make the fingers become weird..

3.using strong glue make those "fingers" to curve like this...and for the tumbs you need to find this plastic "tied-up" thing and slot into the curved zipper (to become thumbs)..we need to reshape the tip of the fingers by grind the lower parts of the zipper to make it look more like fingers..

4.find some parts like in the picture to become palms of the fists...the suitable parts is a "U" box shape...drill a hole each curved zipper to become front finger..using the paperclip to fill into the hole...and for the thumbs you need to find boxy shape to fit inside the palms...then screwed the thumbs..

i hope this helps...and i will update a tutorial about the articulations and installations of LED someday...

After 7 month lying in my lab here i present you the Masterpiece Soundwave (at last can let go my old size Soundwave)9 inch tall and standing as same height as MP Starscream...the ideas is remain from first time...but i want to holla to Heirofthedog for the sound cards ideas (he can talk at last)and payton for finish it in first place(as far as i rmember)

just got chance to finish it ysterday...upgrade body detail...repainted....upgrade articulations...adjust chest cover..adding LED to eyes and blaster..scratchbuilts fists (like MP sixshot)

Im so happy to hear this news...this is dedicated to you Zaim...so now i can buy them in bundle for the whole Shark Army:)....(thought to wait for encore but this look like great opportunity for writer collections)

Member zodconvoy has let us know that site sponsor RobotKingdom has posted a listing for iGear's Shark Sentry, a resizing of Sharkticon Gnaw that is to scale with figures from the modern Transformer lines.
iGear has confirmed that there will be three figures per pack.

In an email to Seibertron.com, iGear has said that development has paused for the moment on this set, so do not expect the October release date mentioned to be fulfilled. They do have intrest in completing the figures though, they're just not sure when it'll happen.

They also mention that the Shark Sentries will have a different robot face than the one pictured.

Please keep in mind that iGear's products are NOT officially endorsed by Hasbro or TakaraTomy, and in this case seems to outright copy the design of the orginal G1 figure, just shrinking down the molds to the new size.

just to show my latest collections..actually not the latest but some of the latest that so intruiging and so special (for me)..im bezee on working schedule and realize dint post about a month...so the progress of MP2 Trailer is still going...waiting for parts to arrive...and im doing Mp Bumblebee for Version 3 by now..its commissioned...

this latest collection is not done by me..its from Boeskoestoys (quint) and so Famous Master Whelljack (Ramjet)..there will be another Mp conehead coming soon..

regarding for the many questions about status of my projects MP2 Trailer, again i inform that it is in rapid protoyping stage...just got news from factory that it will take more 2-3 weeks to finishing it...so while waiting for 2-3 parts arrive...i will let you have some picture of what i already done in this weeks..thnks for being patient guys..

ok parts ni ada yang dari barang atau alat2 tertentu dan ada yang custom sendiri...terlalu meluas...contohya jari2 tu adalah dari zip beg, mata yang transparent tu dari break lamp kereta aku yang dah dipotong, dia punya articulations joints tu dari ball joints yang diimport dari Hobby base Link Japan..

so terlalu banyak untuk dihuraikan..kalu nak tahu lebih lanjut Zaim bleh pay ur visit to my place..any time..

so im finish this a weeks ago and just able to post it here..the newest improvements on the boday was:

1.transparent eyes on robot and beast mode
2.different wheel chains
3.new color repainted
4.new rubber wheels

and all the rest like custom fingers, full body articulated, chrome window on condor mode and the rest of detailed is remains...the weapon is original specs..thnks for looking guys

been so bezee with work and commissions...meanwhile i got problem which is quite terible...my camera got problem with the USB for computer...damn...have to borrow somebody's cam...this is some my works for Universal Studio's in Singapore..the Cart..so if you got any inquiries about related works can ask tru email...

Frenzy_Rumble Predaking Collaboration

Last 3 month ago im been asked by Frenzy_Rumble (FR) to do some collaboration (like what he does with JAF and Sabrina) to articulate the Predaking...this projects take 1half weeks to finish on my side and take about 1 month to ship and fly cross over continents...ive been asked by FR not to reveal our colabs until today (26th may) after got a space releasing his Autobot-X and probably really hot in arena seeing MOeSizzlac's Predaking (i think)

now he start to finish it...well we will see how it turnout soon..and by now i already can smell the owesomeness that FR will blast on this masterpiece creature!!

now still 70%-80% of MP2 trailer WIP...no time due to work commitments.....plus one commission on going...next 2 weeks more "Mega Commissions" coming from USA and Australia...huhh..i hope that can finish the trailer before those item arrive..
